We stopped bidding for smaller contracts at work because they always wanted multiple revisions or extra stuff done for free whereas the larger contracts generally just want what they ask for.

The original games specifically had robot animal bad guys, which if you busted open, a small furry creature popped up and ran away. So it was clear that in the games, Robotnik turned animals into robot soldiers. Heck you bust open a prison full of them after every boss fight. The only difference between this and "roboticization" is that in the latter, the animal turns into a robot version of itself. While in the games you can have a small bird come out of a giant robot bee, so it is implied that the small animals are just used as the power source, like in Matrix.
I don't remember how satam/archie handles it, I recall in the show you had uncle chuck flipping back and forth between helping and turning back into a bad guy. I always interpreted that so he got reprogrammed but he was fighting it. So it's neither mind control or body control but more like the same deal as Robocop - mind got blanked, but lingering memories remained. Could be wrong there, I don't remember the show much.

That reminds me of when I started working on the plus4chan codebase. Regenerating threads took so long that it resulted in a timeout and only worked on a second pass because the server cached the last queries. And even then it stopped a few pages in, so the further you went into the pages, the more broken everything because they were generated a longer and longer time ago.
We came a long way since then, pages have sub 0.1s load times now.

Ahh After 10,000 years I'm free! Time to post about the new archived thread backend! We now have working cross linking between the 4chan and plus threads! This means every time the Conductor links to a thread from here, it'll show up as a post reply in the archived threads. I'm hoping this will bring more attention to the threads here since our special friend keeps deleting posts mentioning this place.
For now cross links are green, but I'll probably change that soon™. I've also added the time of deletion to deleted posts, mostly to see what times our special friend is more active.

Made a start on the Archie comics. The first batch are up on the Mega now. The main difference from the previous Archie ride is these are the recolored versions. That way you won't scare any zoomers by showing them that these comics were once printed on actual paper! Some of them might be too big for 4chan, but I'll resize them later

Yeah, it was used for that, but it was also the way they had to print colors. Remember this was low-grade printing on low-grade paper.

You are right, I opened the pic on a new tab to see the entire thing, it's just the printing artifacts from not scanning it at a high enough resolution to preserve the "dots". So in that context, filtering it out is correct, I could not see it from just expanding the picture since it is larger than the browser window.
Still, be mindful that the filter is not 100% correct, especially on parts with a lot of detail. For example on the purple shadowy part of the beach, there are a lot of inked lines. These should be clear lines but the filter makes them jagged.
Only way around that would be to work at a far higher resolution scan. But, this is also twice as good as the original, so don't worry about it too much. I'm just picky because most modern comic digitalisations are so horrible.

I can confirm that this specific schizo (I think he's different from IDWkun/Pixy, at least in the sense that what sets him off is giving Eggman any level of characterization) samefags. He does it all the time on /v/ and in /sthg/ from what little I saw in there. He usually replies to himself until bump limit in sheer seething over the idea that Eggman treats Sage as his daughter and doesn't hate her.
Apparently /sthg/ identified him as the guy who kept coming into Mario threads to bitch about Bowser and Bowser Junior, and has started shit with the Mario general on /vg/ before. They kicked him out and identified him as a constant shitposter, so he came over to the Sonic threads to incite drama instead. He's done it enough that even the general has gotten sick of him since he's about as bad as the "paragon" fans and twice as annoying.

And the Megaman general was outright killed because/sthg/ posters swarmed and shat it up until it imploded.

Man, I had such a crush on Kevin back when this was airing! Interestingly Long John Baldry voiced the princess' father who was trapped in a mirror world not unlike King Acorn.
