Sonic’s racing to save Amy, Sally’s fighting Brutus on her own, and the rest of the Freedom Fighters are doing a jailbreak! It all comes down to a final fight with an unexpected and powerful enemy!

I'd say that with 8 issues of X, you'd reach the bump limit in a reasonable time, but that would means you posting comics for 4 hours. Might be a bit too much. The one I did was just 35 pages and even there I was glad when I was done with it.

Sonic is the top dog at Sega and yet you would think otherwise considering how they treat the franchise when it comes to budget and restricting innovation. Love, Drama and Deaths! And Sword! Who asked for love triangle, teen drama, misunderstandings, heartbreak and domestic abuse? No, seriously, stop asking. We also get time travel and talking sword, so there is that. But you know what is better than an happy and long awaited resolution? Characters dying! Make that two.
That one is a big chunk which don't really have any common tonal direction, so I am putting them all together. At least the chronology was not too difficult to figure. The events of part 1 and 2 of “Reunification" follow each other directly with no wiggle room, so I am sticking them together. Same with part 3 and its conclusion.
All of "Afterlife" is also a single chain of event which should not be interrupted, but “When There Was Only One Guardian” directly refer to Knuckles Funeral, so I see it best following right after it, where Knuckles was seen double-dying and we could assume that that was it for him. Putting it after he has triple-died kind of remove of its gravitas, IMO. But you tell me, should I put “When There Was Only One Guardian” after all of the "Afterlife" stories?
Putting “The Price of Flame” in this chapter seems to come a bit out of nowhere, but it has to be placed before the Bems make Roboticization possible. Lots of dragons turned into robots in that story. And then melted down, but that's okay, their spirit live on, allegedly. I am placing it right after #118, as this is when Eggman start a renewed campaign of aggression. So it's fitting.
Little observation, but we got to see Mighty and Vector telling Julie-Sue how they met Knuckles, but we never got to see that for Espio or Charmy. Do you think that was ever planned at some point? Anyway, #125 is a great way to conclude that chapter.
SPAAAAAAAAACE... and back! and slap! Behold the many trials and tribulations of our hero, trying to get home and not mess things up too much doing so. Watch him return and risk his life once more for the sake of his friends. See how he finally reunites with his dear and loved ones, only to see it all ruined in a way that still let the fan seething to this days. But no time to rest, for we still need to rescue the most important character of all. Oh, and Angel Island need help too, I guess.
Turn out this work become really easy if each issue is a single story. Space arc was a breeze and issue #131 to #141 only needed M25YL removed. More on that afterwards. If only all chapters could be this easy...
You'll notice that I have extracted “The Chaotix Connection” from issue #166 and put it right after #141, which it explicitly refers to. Conductor said that there was speculation this was an early story that only got released later and I am inclined to agree. Sally's parent have departed for their world tour, she is in charge in the Knothole castle, definitely not in the Freedom HQ and Sonic is sitting on a throne too? I guess to annoy her? Eh, works for me. Their exchange seems reflective of their situation at this point, with Sonic ready to come if danger ever rise, only for Sally to shoot it down by appointing Bunnie instead. Maybe this story take place in an alternate reality where Sonic accepted Sally's demands...
I also added “I Wanna be a Freedom Fighter!” which I still consider decent, especially compared to what come next.
Welcome to the world of TOMORROW! The future has never been this unexciting! What is more fun than watching our heroes prepare dinner and go on a pool party while the world might come to an end. But don't fret, the past is almost as uninteresting. It's not like you'll ever heard of it again afterwards...
An other easy one, even if a snore-fest. I decided to mash all the 25YL together for it to conclude with a return to the present in issue #144. But maybe it was better to parse it between arcs in the previous chapter, or simply let the issues remain whole? you tell me. But I personally think They are better read together.
You'll notice I also included “The Original Freedom Fighters” in beforehand, as 25YL conclude in the first story of issue #144, so it's better to put all the 25YL parts before that and thus the stories in #142 and #143 should be put before 25YL. It explores the past while 25YL explore the future, so they make a good fit together as a single chapter.
I am slightly annoyed that the way I present it, it looks like “The Original Freedom Fighters” are meant to be the main stories of issue #142 and #143, but who is going to care?
What the Fox am I reading? At last, the culmination no one asked for. No one asked for abuse through impersonation or dismembering either, but there we are. Enjoy a story that doesn't really seems to go anywhere, more Tommy Turtle, and an almost (character) assassination. But in the middle of what is definitely the Dark Age of Archie Sonic, we still get to enjoy a light in the middle of it, as well as at the end. An happy reunion that actually get to last. Joy!
And other batch that was relatively easy to deal with, albeit by quizzing “The Good, the Bad & the Unknown” parts in the middle of the issues they were published in and shuffling “Hero to Zero in No Time at All” after Tails's thrilling conclusion to his Destiny so that this masterpiece doesn't get interrupted.
I am also fishing “Courage and Honor” from issue #168 to put it right after issue #156 as it actually address the aftermath of the Patch debacle and it seems evident it take place right after it. It's an other of those stories that seemed to be meant to be published earlier and it provide an enjoyable conclusion for what might be the worst chapter of this series.

Turns out I made more progress than expected on individual author pages! I've now got the code working to display all comics an artist worked on and to list the socials of any artist that has a page on the website. Here's an example to show what I mean (I added the Konductor to a few extra comics to test the spacing, and the test website's missing most of the pages so there's fewer links at the top). Everything below "About the artists" is automatically added from their individual artist pages. Now to split out artists and comics into separate spreadsheets and rewrite the backend to handle that! I moved “Sonic Spin City” to right after Sonic #40. The more I read it the less it looks like an initial clean up mission and more like an hit and run. At this point in time, not much is known about the chaos emeralds. What is known is how many there are and the power they contain. lil bit of a rant but Not to sound like a chud but im low key tired of looking for STC fan art and alot of it being gay. So much of Amy and Tekno art makes gay their entire personality. Recently been seeing someone on tumblr (yeah I know) make espio and mightys rivalry in it to gay mode. It's a shame because that artist makes some nice art for stc and its hard to find some that aint just super sonic but man. There's always something.

>>458712 Well, most versions of Tails have it rough at the start since they usually are orphans for different reasons, some don't even have a home on top of being bullied and made into outcasts because having two tails makes others think of him as an abomination against nature and whatever mobian god they believe in. One can also add all the different shit they go through once they start to go on adventures helping to fight Eggman and other bad guys, things that no normal kid should go through yet he does because that's just the life he knows.
