Today we’re doing a comic that was started in 2009! Back in the good old days after Sonic 3 & Knuckles and before Sonic Adventure, things were a lot simpler. Sonic’s just enjoying a simple life when he finds out that his village has been attacked and his chaos emerald has been stolen! But by who? Surely it can’t be someone this story is named after! This is Ecky’s Story!

In a sort of way, his first adventure would be Solo, but he'd have a way of communication with Sally and she'd give him some advice when Dr. Robotnik try to take over South Island.

As time goes on more will people will be involved and before the events of Sonic 2 start, the Freedom fighter would be fully formed.

The team would be Classic Sonic (Speed), Boom Sonic (Power), and Modern Sonic (Flight). They would go on lighthearted adventures in the pre-Ian preboot Archie world, not a part of the FFs even though they exist and collaborate with the Diamond Cutters. The rest of the game cast, Eggman included, would be given equal screentime as the Archie OCs and DCs.

It's kind of silly how much Rouge has going for her as a character. She's got her thief shtick, her spy work, and she owns a nightclub. Oh, she's also a hacker, and possibly an engineer since I'm pretty sure she makes those bombs herself. Combine that with sheer force of personality and fun interactions with other characters, you could be forgiven for thinking she was the main character. And in a just world, she would be.
