Out of the Sonamy comics we've done, only a handful have featured active gaslighting and less have had Amy herself doing so. And absolutely none of them outside of Amy's Family have treated her as being so far off the deep end that she'd kidnap, drug, work with Eggman to construct a robot duplicate of Sonic to hide her kidnapping, and presumably eventually stockholm Sonic into insanity/"loving" her.

I know this is bait, but the whole "actual Sonamy comics" shit is a fucking meme. Most of the Sonamy comics we've done have either been wholesome or just bad at portraying Sonic as capable of expressing feelings. Hell, the ones we call bad are often almost entirely because despite ostensibly being Sonamy, Sonic is a total cunt in them.

I prefer wholesome Sonamy comics but I'm not going to pretend a good number of them aren't toxic. At least Sonic X can be blamed for a lot of them being that way. Probably why Amy's Family was made. Surely you can agree that Amy now is good but she was horrible thanks to Sonic X and the old games. Amy's Family could be seen as an alternate continuation of all of that. Becoming a villainous yandere that even Eggman is wary of. I wouldn't get too riled up over one story that has treated Amy as a competent threat. We have more than enough stories where that's not the case.

Then I will affectionately say that you'll have to deal with it. You've seen enough comics where one character is made into a piece of shit. We don't get many that intentionally portray Amy as that. She's not cartoonishly evil or incompetent. She's not bawling her eyes out or making a fool of herself in front of everyone. She's done what Eggman couldn't do and beat Sonic with ease. As a villain she's treated respectfully. Not bad for a character written by someone that doesn't like her.
