Sonic X, way back when 4Kids was still a thing. Couldn't catch it all the time, but it was often enough that it got ingrained in my subconscious and never really left. I didn't end up earnestly getting into Sonic until Boom reignited that spark and the movies fully sealed my fate, but it was Sonic X that got the ball rolling I feel.

my first non game media was the Archie issue where Monkey Khan and Sonic fight Espio and explore the ruins of Eggman's Empire and where Sally is introduced. Suffice to say I had not clue what was going but it intrigued me and led to my eventual decent down the Sonally/Archie hole. there was also the trailer for the Sonic OVA which mystified me a fair bit and just saw first few eps of Sonic X and also the one where they fight Perfect Chaos. After that would find more and more Sonic media to get into through youtube mainly as watched Satam before read most of archie, also watched those comic dubs for Archie that way and cemented my Sally rules and Amy more like Amid mindset.

Basically, Sonic gets taken in as a slave by Jet, with Shadow tasked to slowly break and remold him into a fitting "pleasure-slave" for him and pretty much involves manipulation and borderline gaslighting to make him think he wants it - with Shadow having done this to countless slaves before. They try to justify it by saying that it's better than how slaves are normally treated in-setting, but it's still hilariously scummy and fucked up. Eventually, Jet himself comes along and they at least TRY to make him seem sympathetic, even if it's mostly half-assed.

Also Slinger got turned into Mimic's total submissive bitch who is now permanently stuck in an unbelievably toxic "relationship" and Gadget is the most submissive slut to have ever slutted, naturally being the slave to Infinite here. There's a sidestory featuring both and it's about as fucked up as you'd expect.

It's not In Due Time levels of blatant abuse and rape, but it's probably about as bad in terms of how hard the Stockholming gets.
