Sonic Blast and Sonic #44-45 We have another special and this time it’s an adaptation of the bizarre and underrated Sonic 3D Blast! Robotnik is on the hunt for a chaos emerald and he’s terrorizing Flicky Island in order to find it! And then, it’s the return of Anti-Sonic and he has a new Anti-Friend tagging along! And after that, the return of Mobie!

It took me way too long to figure out that 3D Blast was pretty much an isometric Flicky (The arcade game). Would occasionally play both back to back on Mega Collection as a kid, just somehow never made the connection

Does it realy make sense that Robotnik was never able to find Knothole? The man converted an entire kingdom into an automated Metropolis and yet he couldn't locate a single village inside a single forest? No drones or deductive reasoning or anything?
It made sense when they pulled that "Knothole exists three hours into the future" thing after issue 50, as contrived as that was, but Robotnik was dead by then so why even bother with it?

Once again, Ill say that angelo is super underrated as archie sonic writer and writes some nice stories and does the characters well. Easily in the top for me sad this is his last story.
