Good luck with it! Parallel processing can be interesting but I wouldn't bother unless you end up with bottlenecks (debugging alone is an order of magnitude more difficult than single-threaded). I also wouldn't worry about art until you've got a working demo. Good art takes a lot of work and you don't want to redo it when you inevitably have to change some aspect of the core mechanics. That and a good demo is a great way to attract artists.

A lot of programs these days aren't made to run on 32-bit/x86 so I'd not be surprised if a version produced for commercial use had that as its minimum requirement.

Mostly because Rob was introduced in early Archie and nobody really wants to use him. If we're lucky, Okida might, MIGHT bring him into STC but that's it. Scourge simply had a greater lasting impact than Rob and being an evil counterpart to Sonic just made it even greater, which is why he's always used so much.

At the very least, the Scourge Eternal Blackout artist seems to want to use an evil Rob as the big bad for that comic, but who knows when THAT will become relevant.

What I mean to say is that the first Enerjak we see is Dimitri. He loses his power and his body degrades fast. The power of Enerjak can only be transferred to specific echidnas. They're still their original selves. Knuckles is still Knuckles but the two times he became Enerjak he was corrupted in some way. I think the idea was even the in-universe they didn't know if Enerjack was a separate entity or just the name they gave to the powers and corrupting influence of too much chaos energy. The first one's name originally was Enerjack and it's possible Dimitri just adopted it as a title.
Dimitri!Enerjack and Knuckles!Enerjack still had their memories and personalities, albeit twisted. We also never saw them recall memories from the previous incarnations.
