I’m willing to blame both. Dialogue itself is something that can be good, even with tight supervision. They failed on that front. As for the story? Yeah, definitely Sega’s fault. You can tell that this originally was gonna be a darker and more serious game but then someone came in with a marker and started scribbling things out. Infinite was also meant to be a killer robot at first if I’m not mistaken, which would make sense since the dude talks like a robot sometimes.
