Sonic #34-36 Robotnik is done playing around! He’s assembled an unstoppable army and nobody can get in his way! Not even Sonic! Okay, maybe one person can stop him. And then, Sonic hits a milestone for his 35th issue! And after that, Sonic and the Freedom Fighters take their first dive into… the Zone of Silence! Also, for those that complained about all the Knuckles backup stories only being two pages each issue, rejoice! They’re much longer now!
Question: If you were offered a job writing Archie Sonic during any time before its cancellation, would you take it? How do you think you’d do?
>>140118887 >Question I dunno. Maybe? Depends on which canon I'm writing for and what Sega will and won't allow. I'd probably keep it simple (or write something Eggman-centric) >How do you think you'd do Impressively mediocre.
>>140118887 >Sonic and the Freedom Fighters take their first dive into… the Zone of Silence! I was wondering when we'd get to this. Worst dad is about to enter the picture. Let's fucking go.
>Also, for those that complained about all the Knuckles backup stories only being two pages each issue, rejoice! They’re much longer now! ... Why does that read like a threat?
>>140118887 >Question: If you were offered a job writing Archie Sonic during any time before its cancellation, would you take it? How do you think you’d do? expect a bit of Mordred Hood and hypnotized Sally, lot of Team Chaotix antics and Silver getting his shit pushed in, it'd be bad probably but i'd have fun
>>140118887 >Question: If you were offered a job writing Archie Sonic during any time before its cancellation, would you take it? How do you think you’d do? I'd probably add more lightsabers and anime-esque fight scenes
also more homoeroticism. Would really play up the idea of Silver and Elias being the Sonic and Sally of the SFF
>>140118887 >Question no. I want to read the story that that came from the artist (in this case Ian Flynn). I don't want them to do what I want, I want them to make what they are compelled to. That's why I'm reading somebody elses story
>>140118887 >Question: If you were offered a job writing Archie Sonic during any time before its cancellation, would you take it? How do you think you’d do? I'd definitely take the offer. And do my damndest to make sure Penders pays for his crimes as well.
>>140118887 >Question: If you were offered a job writing Archie Sonic during any time before its cancellation, would you take it? Probably, only to immediately regret it due to to Sega's bullshit.
>How do you think you’d do? Eh, I'd try at least. I like to focus on strong characterization and exploring various interactions. I see the plot as an excuse for characters to be interesting or show off how cool they are.
>>140119014 That's the second time Chuck and Muttski got zapped this story. But this time something did happen! >>140118947 It's echidna stuff and we already because of Penders' shit that you have a good chance to get away with it.
>>140118927 Damn, Robotropolis looks cool >>140118936 >... Why does that read like a threat? Ha! >>140118944 >that weird gray patchwork effect I fucking knew they were using the same techniques I've been using to clean up the scans! You have to do a separate pass for the grays you lazy shits! >>140118957 Yeah, the stakes are a lot higher now >>140118968 Well what's the point if you can't push your favorites! >>140118984 Absolute patrician taste!
>>140118974 Meh, I'd say Max is worse because at least Locke was a real one at the end of his road. Max had to be outright replaced with a different version of himself to stop being garbage.
>>140119106 Chuck is the worst by far. At least Max and Locke sired good people. Chuck was a chud incel who fucked everything up and survived in the end.
>>140119155 >AIEEEEE I hate this fucking site because whenever I read that word in anything my mind instantly goes to La muerte de Vegeta (Doblaje Portugal)
>>140119195 I have to wonder if whatever modifications you make to a robian carry over genetically when deroboticized, like you give them longer legs are they taller when organic again?
>>140119217 And now for the best part of each of these issues! The history of the echidnas and how they're so amazing! As narrated by Knuckles as he walks around by himself.
>>140119034 >It's echidna stuff and we already because of Penders' shit that you have a good chance to get away with it. Now that I think of it, trying to see just how gay I could make them would be a lot of fun >>140119053 I like that he's still making jokes. Also, those stealth outfits are adorable >>140119075 Hawt! >>140119097 >Look at the swagger Robotnik has in the last panel! He's finally acting more like Eggman! >>140119106 Flynn did a fantastic job there. And not just because he made Penders seethe! >>140119169 I wouldn't! Remington would be in so many issues, they'd have to change the name of the Knuckles comic! >>140119186 Halloween premier in 22 hours! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6FvDm4qydw
>>140119235 >Sonic's Friendly Nemesis I gotta nitpick this title. Knuckles is Sonic's RIVAL. Eggman is his nemesis. These words mean much different things.
>>140119283 >RIVAL doesn't have connotations of friendliness to the adults. see the issue where the supers fight, knux is very much meant to be in tune with how they use shadow today
>>140119305 Why didnt they just chaos control the comet away, they could with that many emeralds >>140119329 So how do they explain tikal and all those guys then later?
>>140119217 Finally, they've got the coloring right on the combots >>140119228 That's what they were worried about with Sally >>140119235 >And now for the best part of each of these issues! You joke but I absolutely loved these Knuckles parts >>140119252 And we're already doing Krypton!
>>140119274 >charted the entire Alpha Quadrant >from terra firma >with a telescope ... Is it even worth bitching about how that's extremely not how outer fucking space works?
>>140119329 There's Sonic's ancestors. But where are the kilts? >>140119256 >He's finally acting more like Eggman! I'm reminded of Boom Eggman who also looked like some tropical island dictator.
>>140119337 >So how do they explain tikal and all those guys then later? A dumb tribal branch that split off and lived in not South America. Yes, Penders was that petty.
>>140119337 >Why didnt they just chaos control the comet away Hedgehog ability onry. You rike?
>>140119274 More laziness with the gray parts. Not so easy to use selective Gaussian blur here! >>140119288 lmao, there's an entire hall of Knuckles! plap plap!
>>140119401 >robotnik last issue >I'M GOING TO SEND AN ARMY OF UNSTOPPABLE MILITARY ROBOTS TO DESTROY THE ENTIRE FOREST >robotnik this issue >attacks sonic with a giant checkered ball
>>140119288 >>140119305 >>140119329 Did they ever consider, I dunno, just trying to blow the comet up if they're the smartest things on Mobius? Or maybe just evacuate all your citizens with a bunch of your tech?
It seems a hell of a lot easier than just lifting your city into the sky
>>140119444 Sonic just collected his... >raises pinky finger One billionth ring! >>140119442 He absorbs it. Gallagher infusing video game stuff in the comics and explaining in a wacky way.
>>140119106 Except that was probably one of the biggest mistakes Flynn ever made. Max was hilarious in his worse-than-useless madness, and made for a great source of conflict that made Sally and Elias better as counterpoints.
>>140119410 AoStH Robotnik would drop random tidbit of his life here and there. Satam Robotnik had how he tricked the king and took over the world. Not much before that.
>>140119351 Had to get a dig in at Sonic >I'm reminded of Boom Eggman who also looked like some tropical island dictator. Yeah, his outfit was really stylish >>140119459 Pretty spicy of Ian, and in an encyclopedia of all things! >>140119493 Oh boy, it's acid trip time for Sonic!
>>140119474 She is, and she's tied with Nicole as best girl. It's going to take a long ass time for her to show up though, especially since the comic never does a proper SA2 adaptation.
>Dear Sonicgrams: Um, hi, my name is David and I'm a big fan of your comic. One problem though - I collected a billion rings in Sonic 3 and I didn't get to the walker special stage. Was I supposed to collect them all in one life? Thank you!
>>140119557 >It's cute how Gallagher writes his characters explaining stuff happening like he's writing an old comic. His writing style does come across very Silver Age at times, yes.
>>140119508 >Pretty spicy of Ian, and in an encyclopedia of all things! To be fair, it's not like he's saying anything that's incorrect. The Nocturnus are just the Dark Legion but better realized. Also they have Shade.
>>140119557 >It's cute how Gallagher writes his characters explaining stuff happening like he's writing an old comic. I really do like his style >>140119575 >I was not expecting Sonic to get married this soon and to this guy. >>140119575 Fun fact: the Ancient Walkers remain nameless throughout the comic Sonic you Slut! What would Knuckles say? >>140119596 >Also they have Shade. And that's the real reason thy're superior!
>>140119596 >Also they have Shade. >*ahem* don't you mean Julie-Su? Shade was obviously Julie using a disguise so that my- er I mean Penders could have more proof that Sega ripped of my- I mean, Penders ideas.
>>140119607 Not really. Dude doesn't really do cosmic stuff.
>>140119611 >Preboot Rouge is not a good friend. Save that for the reboot version. She is -trying- to be a good friend. It's just that her greed gets in the way. That, and she weirdly starts off as almost a villain.
>>140119459 I don't think Ian even intended it as a jab. When you look at how both groups are portrayed, the Nocturnus clearly look more advanced. Despite Penders' seething, the Dark Legion were always just a cult of cyborg fetishists scrounging illegal tech. Nobody but him ever had the impression that they were a big deal in the grand scheme.
>>140119709 We end this story with a pun and a McDonald's reference. Now for the next story! You know what that means! >>140119664 >She is -trying- to be a good friend. It's just that her greed gets in the way. That, and she weirdly starts off as almost a villain. There's also the fact that she spends the rest of her time in the preboot trying to be a homewrecker.
>>140119632 >Sonic is very spherical. He should cut down on the chili dogs. You better take that back before I tell Brosnan! >>140119637 lmao >>140119646 the sexiest Ancient Walker! >>140119661 Still fucking up the grays
>>140119699 Nocturnus clan >Cool power armor that can fly, heal, and had lazors >took over 4 alien races >A pain in the ass to fight Dark Legion >Boring ass robes >Needs guns to be even considered a threat >Jobs constantly
Gotta be honest, I never really thought there'd be a whole issue attempting to explore the nature and origins of rings, but in hindsight, it's kinda weird that it didn't happen more often.
>>140119637 That shit was gross even for him. Asshole.
>>140119690 honestly this was a really fun bonker's story, like how the rings and emeralds are explored here as being very bizarre and despite their power very incomprehensible
>>140119739 >We end this story with a pun and a McDonald's reference. Classic Gallagher! >>140119744 Don't forget the stylish home base and all th Greek mythology references! >>140119757 >Penders is writing and drawing solo Oh boy! >>140119764 They're trying to make it more SatAM-like now >>140119770 Spaz really is cool
>>140119758 >, it's kinda weird that it didn't happen more often. I mean, aside from giving you an extra hit, they really do much gameplay wise.
>>140119764 It varies for while until they make the distinction that the FFs HQ is the hold in the ground while the rest of Knothole is the generic village that's in the forrest.
>>140119803 Welp! >>140119758 >Gotta be honest, I never really thought there'd be a whole issue attempting to explore the nature and origins of rings, but in hindsight, it's kinda weird that it didn't happen more often. Gallagher obviously wanted to fit as much video game stuff in the comics as possible but needed a way to explain it all. Barely anyone else bothers to do such a thing and just translate it to better fit the world.
So is the whole mobian anatomy with crossroad signs and auntie bodies because of all the pollution robotnik pumps in the air. Why are the mobiana such freaks of nature.
I have what may be a dumb question. Why didn't the echidnas go back to the ground after the comet hit? Like sure, they'd have to wait a bit for whatever radiation resulted or whatever, but was there anything actually preventing them from just landing?
>>140119784 Damn, Dimitri's looking dummy thicc in that first panel! >>140119808 It's fine, they're 15 generations from a common ancestor. Most of humanity is only 10 generations apart >>140119831 DENIED!
>>140119920 After last thread, I know exactly what's going to be cropped out of this cover. >>140119882 They'd have to figure out how to lower the power enough to slowly land and even then they'd have to find a place to do it safely. The council didn't want to take any risks.
>>140119882 A combination of being afraid that the landing would kill them all and enjoying the separation from the pleb races >>140119890 So cool! >>140119944 Spaz really went hard on this cover >spoiler Tee hee
>>140119960 More fuckups with digitally coloring the gray parts. It's driving me mad! >Definitely not the proportions of a mobian. I'm reminded of Lord Farquaad's armor in Shrek
>>140119831 >>140119853 >okay so we made this thing to help us slowly get back down to Earth since it's better than someone stealing our shit and making us crash down hard >NOOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T DO THAT, WE WON'T EVEN LET YOU TEST IT ON A SINGLE EMERALD BECAUSE...I DON'T WANT YOU TO is it just me or is everyone in this comic acting a bit short sighted
>>140120029 >sally tells sonic to not run in and be reckless >sonic does it anyway >now the world is doomed >>140120016 It's one of those things where the name changed and what the zone was used for. It only gets more complicated and gets more retcons later.
>>140120029 One thing I hate about these early issues is how Robotnik's city is either so well guarded that the FF need to sneak around guerilla style or Sonic can just waltz right in no problem.
>>140120094 >You want to bring back King Acorn? What, are you also insane, hedgehog? >You will beg me to return him to the Zone once you see what he is capable of.
>>140120124 >Have you not read the comic? I've read through the whole thing about 5 times I was just joking about the horse >>140120140 He's beefy and violent and I have terrible taste in men! >>140120165 Manipulating shit from behind the scenes
>>140120176 Gasp, it's everyone's favorite ruler and Mobius' greatest judge of character! >>140120190 He's getting progressively more confident >>140120195 >To think that hit isn't close to the worst thing Max will do to Sally. Are we even sure he's being mind controlled here?
>Dimitri: "Hey guys let's use my power siphon to drain power from the Chaos Emeralds!" >Everyone else: "Dude please don't put our lives at risk to show off your untested invention, patent rejected." >Dimitri: "This is everyone else's fault but mine! I'm gonna take all the Emeralds for myself and you can't have any!" And then when they're proven right to be skeptical 70 issues later, he blames Knuckles for not doing the time travel right. Penders's stories are hilarious when you don't take them at face value.
>>140120245 I don't care how powerful you are, doing blackface in current year is very problematic! >>140120220 A lot of artists can't do mobian proportions. Look at Ron Lim and even based Butler draws them closer to human proportions.
Also remember the SatAM episode where they got Max and Naugus out of the Zone of Silence, but they had to return to it because they began turning into crystal?
>>140120228 Oh Sally... You've got a good heart, but you don't know. You just don't know.
I will give Penders some real deal, legit credit. This was a good twist. Finally finding the lost king only for him to turn out to be an amnesiac enemy is actually an interesting direction.
>>140120240 Imagine the electricity bill! >>140120249 No, I was just joking. We do meet Sir Connery soon though! The horse and minions are just something Naugus magicked up for Max, they're probably not even alive
>>140120336 Fuck, that looks like those pictures of people with their faces duplicated into trails that go all over the picture to right in front of someone else in the picture.
>>140120315 >implying Christianity exists on Mobius Fuckin'... Even considering the Xorda thing, HOW? And don't tell me the fucking Overlanders somehow had Bibles, especially since it's an echidna reciting it.
>>140120283 lmao, pirate Enerjak! >>140120295 If only one of his powers was immunity to building collapse >>140120305 This isn't even the first Enerjak. The previous one is Arora's husband >>140120315 >And we have a bible passage. All part of Penderskino. At least he's not quoting Hitler! Not yet at least >>140120329 That'd be the Ancient Walkers, then Mammoth Mogul (arguably), then the first Enerjak
>>140120386 >And don't tell me the fucking Overlanders somehow had Bibles They might have, since Ian established that they made early contact with the hidden human cities.
>>140120336 >Dmitri overreacted to the council's decision and drove himself crazy, becoming a villain >The echidnas overreact to Dmitri's death and, rather than stop thinking they're such hot shit, blow up their city and renounce all technology which leads to a civil war and centuries of insanity
Is this all because Knuckles' uncles and ancestors couldn't behave like adults
>>140120373 More and more the Archie Sonic comics are becoming the Archie Knuckles comics. While Sonic has his silly adventures Penders gets to vomit up so much made up lore for Knuckles his head is spinning.
>>140120336 lmao, let's take all the technology away from the plebs and keep it for ourselves! >>140120352 >This guy! Finally a relatable character! >>140120360 He kinda is >>140120373 Thanks Konductor! >>140120386 It's literally Earth ~12,000 years from now and all the Mobians and Overlanders are our decedents. The Bible's the world's most printed book so I'm sure some would've survived >>140120402 Dummy thicc!
>>140120469 We've got 24 more issues until #47 so about 8 more threads >>140120499 Damn, literal children are way better at art then I am >>140120523 Oh boy! Fun fact: Echidnopolis is one of the most technologically advanced cities on Mobius despite claiming to have renounced it
>>140120453 >Jason Hendon Imagine being the comic artists and being shown up by a 10-year old drawing a more game-accurate Tails than your crew was at the time.
In all honestly I don't think they could've taken Max. Not even Sonic, if he's armed and mounted and in a zone where Sonic can barely move. Guy was a fucking badass.
What's up /co/cksluts, it's time for the final day of the most important week of the year: Sonknux week! Today's theme is anything goes so be prepared for anything!
>>140120469 8-9 days. First part of Endgame will be at the end of one day and we'll do the remaining three issues the next day. I fullu expect both threads to hit bump limit fast.
>>140120674 Flirting, and Knuckles is all glistening and sweaty? Oh my! >>140120681 Pretty much, but not quickly enough to cause a schism in their society that would fuck them over for centuries! >>140120685 He's a classy guy!
>>140120617 Max in his prime was a master swordsman and tactical genius. But he got betrayed by three of his closest advisors and got his mind warped in the Zone of Silence. Dude never fully recovered from that.
>>140120694 >Racing >Sonic: Your cart is red, so why do you use red lacquer spray? >Did you damage your cart? >Sonic is worried because he knew Knuckles wanted Kart. >Knuckles: It's noisy don't come near me!! >……This is your fault >Sonic: Why >>140120719 Plap plap!
>>140120305 >green power-hungry man takes all the power for himself and it later gets retconned into possession by a foreign entity Wait I've seen that one before
>>140119557 >It's cute how Gallagher writes his characters explaining stuff happening like he's writing an old comic. To be honest, I'm not a big fan, but it's definitely not a dealbreaker.
>>140120315 >Games have heaven (That's where Chaos went) and Vector believed in God in the classic era. >God namedropped in Archie. Christianity? Canon to Sonic.
>>140120430 Imagine if Archie -- the preboot, kept going when the Ancients were introduced. They would probably be responsible for the chaos emeralds scattered across the universe and the origins of the how the Nocturnus Clan and the Dark Legion and the other Echidnas were so technologically advanced.
>>140120875 I think this is referencing something? It's pretty funny anyway >>140120874 Nobody's perfect! >>140120890 Yeah, fujos outnumber homos by a massive amount. Still, they provide beautiful art of all the lewd things I like so I can't complain!
>renouncing all technology So aside from this meaning we were robbed of cyber echidna waifus, this is basically dooming everyone to a slow and rather sad demise. When people say "technology", they usually mean it as some arbitrary point of development, like computers. But strictly speaking, technology refers to any tool or artificial system. By definition, that includes things like agriculture and housing. Getting rid of ALL of one's technology is an inherently fallacious premise.
>>140120924 And we'll end this year's Sonknux week with this lovely drawing that's both cute and canon! >>140120906 It's exactly the sort of thing Ian would've loved to integrate into the story >>140120922 I kinda want to see what he'd have done with Sonic. Imagine getting a massive Sonic family tree and Jules microwaving him as a child
>>140120951 Oh, it's even worse than that, they're forced to give up their Sega Genesis' at gunpoint. Honestly the whole thing makes no sense. I could see them banning research into chaos energy, but there's no way anyone's giving up indoor plumbing >>140120979 lmao
>>140121025 Shit, I didn't even consider the logistics and societal consequences of purging tech.
First of all, HOW did they do it? Did they indeed just have the cops go around and remove devices from people's homes at gunpoint? And they'd have to use tech to pull it off, because the sheer enormity of the task, even for just a city is absurd.
Second, it's frankly laughable that the Dark Legion were the only apparent splinter group created by this nonsense. The Albion tribe would've torn itself apart from the sheer amount of internal strife caused by the government suddenly declaring that air conditioning pornography are now illegal.
>>140121266 What was hilarious about that period was when the human/Overlander characters were done very well (and pretty hot for some of them), but Sonic and crew were so badly-drawn and proportioned.
>>140121294 You gotta love how they had to retcon the Source into being an evil eldritch monster, cause that's the only way any of that bullshit makes sense.
>>140121301 Something Sonic Universe-esque for IDW Sonic would've been so fucking good, but they seemingly have enough fucking trouble getting the current mainline comic out on time. Plus it also doesn't help that IDW seem to be sinking for real this time.
>>140121177 >Did they indeed just have the cops go around and remove devices from people's homes at gunpoint? That's it exactly. They then just loaded everything up and stored it underground using trucks (trucks that are also technology) >The Albion tribe Now I'm wondering if they were laughing at the Echidnopolians the whole time. Kinda ironic since they created the first Enerjak >>140121182 At least Robotnik goes to the effort of building his own betrayers. Max is just lazy! >>140121251 You can really tell J Axer loved drawing Rouge
>>140121349 >Something Sonic Universe-esque for IDW Sonic would've been so fucking good You already got those. Tangle and Whisper's lesbian adventures, and Surge and Kit's jobbing prologue. You want more?
>>140121367 Jon Gray is a gem of an artist. Probably the most cartoony the series ever got. Though he does have the "accolaide" of being the artist that drew The Slap™
>>140121359 >That's it exactly. They then just loaded everything up and stored it underground using trucks (trucks that are also technology) God this shit is so dumb. Again, the logistics of such an operation are just plain infeasible for so many reasons.
>Now I'm wondering if they were laughing at the Echidnopolians the whole time. Kinda ironic since they created the first Enerjak I'm pretty sure all the other tribes were laughing at the ones on the island. Must've been pretty satisfying watching those arrogant pricks fuck themselves after talking all that shit.
>>140121433 >God this shit is so dumb. Again, the logistics of such an operation are just plain infeasible for so many reasons. Exactly! Let's use technology to get rid of our technology, even though it's the only thing keeping us from being genocided by the many, MANY races that hate us! Sure would be bad if a faction were to spring up that actually wanted to keep living their lives in relative comfort! >I'm pretty sure all the other tribes were laughing at the ones on the island. Must've been pretty satisfying watching those arrogant pricks fuck themselves after talking all that shit. Laughing at Echidna fuckups is probably the one thing that could unite all the other races
>>140121349 >>140121376 There's not enough world/ideas for another ongoing. Plus Sega doesn't want anybody besides Sonic actually solving problems so if they approved it at all it would be a bunch of nothing fluff like the annuals.
>>140121945 Archie Silver's relationships with Mogul, Edmund, the Time Stones, Knights of Kronos, and the history of the world is all way more interesting and way less convoluted than anything he had going on in 06.
>>140122449 Potto is his internet handle. It is a unique name that he has which I can use to more easily search for discussion of him than his more broadly uses names of "Ian" and "Flynn". Names which a bunch of people in comics and other media industdy have. Plus it serves as a reminder where he came from and how we all know he can do better than his current output in IDW.
>>140122223 What I've heard is that he pushed for romance drama and one of his proposed stories was Sonic and Amy having a secret relationship when he was single. After she was aged up of course.
>>140122512 Exactly, you're using it because the man makes you seethe to no end and you think it's a way to attack him, just as ol' Rushbo thought when he nonstop said Obama's name like that for the last two decades of his life.
>>140122620 I think Karl Bollers said Sonic and Amy's relationship would start after being stranded on an island. Also, I think it was beforehand, but Amy and Fiona were supposed to rivals for Sonic's affection.
>>140123960 They like Shadow. They don't like his game or the whole half-Black Arms thing.
>>140123987 Not what I see on /v/. Everyone raged about the Ancients and the Chaos Emeralds being from space as much as they rage about ShtH and Sonic Colors.
>>140124092 Al and Cal being next to some serious looking gods while being so cartoony yet powerful is funny >>140124117 Ahh I see. Well personally related to a god or not. I think just having enough emeralds or ME can turn anyone super.
>>140119882 If they just unplugged the Chaos Emeralds, Angel Island would plummet like a stone. Hence Ed and Dmi's proposal to slowly syphon the energy from them, causing a presumably controlled descent. Plus there are fringe benefits to being a few hundred feet in the air, it's harder for bad actors to invade you and if you decide you're going to be the bad actor, you have a Bird's eye view of whoever you're trying to invade. >>140119938 Echinapolis is basically Kandor with a bit of Laputa.
>>140124141 >Plus there are fringe benefits to being a few hundred feet in the air Yeah, you can put up giant sails and become pirates! >>140124195 Wish we'd gotten more about that, it sounded really cool. That and you just know Ian had some cool ideas about the birth of the first super transformation >>140124214 Feist is great, but it'd be a challenge to make the magic puddle look cool. Shame they never reused Naugus' echidna disguise, there's so few bara Echidnas in Archie
>>140124294 Ixis is Naugus' first name in SatAM so it was fine since all the non-Flynn stuff only said he's the composite of three wizards. The Order of Ixis was all Flynn, and he's just a single magical troll in the reboot >>140124341 He totally is! This is why I hope Sega will eventually allow more Echidnas to show up outside of the movies. I need more bara Echidna husbandos!
>>140121177 Keep in mind, this is a story Locke is telling his young son, it's entirely possible Angel Island's Year Zero-ing was a much more bloody and violent affair.
Also, while I like technology and generally don't think of myself as a Luddite, if a Robot Army broke into my house and enslaved me and the entire populace I'd probably be taking a dimmer view of modern conveniences. As is I find myself trying to find some way to surreptiously build a cabin out in the middle of nowhere and renounce the world except for family birthdays and holidays.
>>140119831 >this siphon is nothing but trouble, we can't risk our civilization on this! >>140120336 >we were right, that siphon was nothing but trouble, better dynamite our civilization just to be safe!
>>140124943 >Penders quitting Archie when asked to include Shadow in a story >>140124954 Oh shit, they mentioned he's a Jerboa! >>140124962 >Keep in mind, this is a story Locke is telling his young son, it's entirely possible Angel Island's Year Zero-ing was a much more bloody and violent affair. That's actually a good point. Yet another interesting idea spun off of Penders' nonsense >>140125046 >we were right, that siphon was nothing but trouble, better dynamite our civilization just to be safe! B-but absolutely all of their technology was based on the chaos siphon!
