Another night of various comics! And we’re starting with what is now the comic putting out the most content every month! Clocking in at 17 pages this month and having another chapter scheduled for next month, Go! Go! Super Sonic! is taking the crown from Sonic Future! And Team Dark is all here! That includes Omega!

Honestly, I dig the idea. Rouge is an anti-hero, so she's gonna be the more... morally flexible member of the team who makes less than savory suggestions for how to deal with problems. Nothing that isn't PG, of course, but still.

Yeah, doubt that. Though I do suspect this means she'll be in Movie 3/Knuckles show. This shit reeks of tie-in.

Also, to be fair, she was at Sonic's birthday party, so there is some precedent.

Tails is so much better with children just from the sheer amount he’s dealt with over the years with seedarian kids, AND he’s normal (unlike somebody…)

Since we covered it, there was one other page that came out in July and the artist had been saying they were coming back to it but wanted to work on their art skills and did some Sonic art. I'm wondering if they're going to fix the story and I hope they don't do written cursive for that spirit. Easily the biggest oof this comic has done.

If a Sonic story with the SatAM chracters include game adaptations, I have always thought that as story adaptation of the Sonic Spinball game would be a good fit for that event to take place.

Hope not, no roboticization is incredibly soulless. Freeing animals from robots is part of the series' DNA and that's probably why SoJ has worked so hard to make sure every enemy is an egg pawn or elder god spawn in their slop.

That's probably the most soulless of them at all. Fully embraced the idea of "Sonic is just a superhero in the human world" with no wacky zones, Robotnik is an afterthought to generic elder god of the week, Sonic is the only playable character and the only relevant one beyond poochie of the week sidekick. I know people like the animation or whatever but there is absolutely no Sonic DNA in that game.

Anon, most of the games that come after it have Eggman as the sole villain and they're all fucking terrible. Eggman only works as the primary big bad in SOME games - having him be the sole villain period is one of the worst mistakes you could ever make.

Original Colors is significantly better than Unleashed, even counting the complaints about "baldy nosehair." Lost World is about the Fearsome Five. Forces is about Infinite. Mania is all about Robotnik and his creations and it's sterling silver if not solid gold.

Spinoffs where one would expect none of the usual Sonic trappings by the very nature of being isekai. Unleashed purports itself to be mainline but has less Sonic DNA than the game where he's a knight with a sword in furry Camelot.
