Light Mobius' downfall was caused by Shadow, possessed by Naugus who is actually a mostly unknowing pawn to Finitevus. And since Light Mobius no longer exists, most of the events therein have no bearing on the Shock & Awe timeline.

By the end of the story, Enerjak is manifested and kills everything on the planet beyond Malik, Sonic's son and Knuckles' daughter (also Mogul, but he WISHES he could die), who Silver is descended from and who end up repopulating the planet once Enerjak is destroyed. Silver's original future is literally entirely inhabited solely by hedgehogs and echidnas because there was nothing else to use as a genetic baseline.
He changes this in the epilogue issue, by killing or otherwise removing literally of the villains, which alters the timeline so much that his future never comes about so Silver gets erased from existence.
