>>130749431It's a crippling inferiority complex brought on by the fact that Archie is discussed and remembered more (which is only to be expected, it was a comic that lasted 20+ fucking years) as well as the fact that simply speaking, nobody cares about Fleetway. I like it, but that's the honest truth of it when it comes to the wider fanbase or even people in general. Not even SEGA gives a shit, even less than they did for Archie. They can't accept this, so we have shitty temper tantrums over nothing and blaming Archiefags for everything that's ever gone wrong for them.
I don't hate Fleetway, and I've read the entire thing all the way through, but I'd gladly have all discussion or mention of it banned solely because of its fans.
>>130749447Nobody was arguing that Archie Sonic isn't an asshole, retard. But out of these two, only one of them is so much of a raging asshole that his own hatred and resentment can take on a consciousness of its own with every bad trait he's ever had amplified by a million.
Even beyond that, you're leaving out context in that panel. For one, Tails' parents were explicitly trying to lad a revolution and incite borderline TREASON whilst everyone is trying to deal with Eggman's repeat attacks all because of Amadeus' growing resentment to the House of Acorn. Two, Sonic says that shit with such confidence because Tails' parents basically entrusted the kid to him. Is it ego-driven? Yes. But does it come from a place of experience and having pretty much raised Tails until his parents came back? Also yes. Finally, Sonic still respects Tails and considers him his little brother. Fleetway Sonic not only does the exact same crap you're accusing Archie of, but freely insults him whenever he feels like it and Tails takes it like a bitch every time.
It's fucking laughable how you and others accuse people of "not being able to wrap their heads around a children's comic book", but you go ahead and do the same shit with zero self-awareness.
