Now that we’ve gone through all of the official Archie Sonic comics, it’s time to check out the unofficial stuff! If you missed the preboot then you’ll love all of this! First up is Archie Sonic Online! The purpose of ASO is to write issues as if the Pendering and Worlds Collide never happened. We’ll be going in order so we’ll start with Endangered Species and then do the first two issues of Sonic the Hedgehog Online!

I like to think the official explanation is they have fingernails, but they're translucent to the point where they're not noticeable, and only thicken up into claws when they undergo a transformation (like the Werehog or Trip)
