And he has Sonic unknowingly help him! What a guy! And then, the escaped villains from the Devil’s Island Gulag have made their way to Mobotropolis and take on the Freedom Fighters. And win! Thing is, the Archie multiverse doesn't function like any other multiverse in Sonic - like at all. The few other realities we see in the Modern continuity aren't inherently that different from each other, and even if they were, none of them exist at this point in time since all of these comics are well before Sonic Adventure.

Game Sonic doesn't develop enough to have actual lore worth talking about until we'll after Sonic Adventure releases and most of that lore is irrelevant due to how developed Archie is at this point.

Archie Sonic being a jersey is highly exaggerated by shitposters. He can be very egocentric and grouchy, but he's actually one of the more self-aware Sonics so long as you aren't an overlander (and even then, so long as you're like Nate, you're in the clear).
