This would be alot more effective if they didn't leave it by the sidelines for half a decade. Yeah, for as much people bring up Bunnie being at odds with her cybernetics, it's only brought up a handful of times. More often than not she's just Antoines Gf/wife.

Real talk, the only real downside to robotization seems to be the loss of free will, and that was a modification Eggman made to the technology. For its original purpose as a medical device, it's a borderline non-issue, if not an outright improvement.

And while ABT's pencils are certainly horny, he sells his fanservice more through expressions and layering on a bit of curves. Butler, Axer, Dawn Best, etc. were not so subtle. It's probably hard to fathom for younger readers, but there was no concept of "canon" back then. There was just Sonic. Everything coexisted in a loose cloud of shared characters and terminology. Around Adventure, when the Japanese vision of the franchise started diverging from the rest of the world's, we started seeing the cracks forming that would ultimately result in the Iizuka worshippers you know today.

Fans also thought Archie was taking the piss out of Amy, especially with Sally barring her from joining the FF's.
