Yeah, from what I remember she felt she'd wrote herself into a corner and felt the whole comic would need to be restarted. Since it needed a reboot, I guess she decided to make it its own thing as PSYN. Reading between the lines, I think there was some desire do distance herself from the Sonic fandom. The artist behind THoaM was a salty bitch in particular, even writing a callout post like they're the god-emperor of the fandom
