Shadow and Rouge working for GUN just feels right but there’s something off… something missing. Anyway, Shadow is sent on a mission to hunt down a rogue badnik but Eggman sent someone as well! And then, we head to the next big milestone! With issue 175, Eggman had his greatest victory over Sonic and the others. This time, our heroes have taken the fight to Eggman’s doorstep. The doctor has lost so much and he just might lose something else!

Archie Eggman is a literal monster, even by the standards of other Robotniks. He absolutely should be killed without hesitation. The problem is, there are very few Sonics who'd actually go for the kill against any Eggman.

Movie absolutely would kill Archie Eggman - he didn't fucking hesitate against his own. Game is more iffy. He wouldn't actively save him, but unless he's informed of the full brunt of his crimes, he'd probably just leave him in the ruins of his latest schemes like he does with his Eggman.

In fact, all the people who DID kill Longclaw were killed by her own talons before they brought her down, and Sonic is mature enough to know that. It's why he sympathizes with him and says "they both lost everything that day".
