And yet I never hear anyone say "Reed really should ice Victor." or "Doom Patrol should just kill General Immortus." or "Howard. Just fucking KILL Dr. Bong, god damn it." Well, maybe once in a while. I thought that place where his desk was might've been some Gerald Base on the other world, which could be where he learned everything he knows. Tie everything back to Gerald in a way (probably had something to do with Sonic/Knuckles and "muh chaos energy" shit making Shadow 50 years ago, GUN attack left Robotnik orphaned, Gerald remainders gave Tails his passion for technology, etc)

As said before "No Killing" is a general policy across the genre, with some exceptions depending on the era (90's 80's, 30's), writer (Barr, British Invasion types except for maybe Milligan) and least of all the character themselves.
