I don't like Lanolin design mostly because of her face. When you compare it to normal Sonic characters there's just too much going on (The big ears, the horns, the big buns being tied by 4 hairbands.) Her tail is also pretty big so it tends to overlap with her hair which doesn't help. I don't think it's a terrible design either, they should've just experimented with her haircut a little more. Yup both arcs are fun although it'll b ea while before we get to them. There's a reason Sonic Universe is so popular. People complain about characters not interacting with each other or getting a whole arc to themselves and Sonic Universe is mostly that. Barely any Sonic although he's on almost every cover to probably help sell issues.
