Honestly these two match super well, they're really cute I'd love if they did a timeskip and Tails and Rouge were happily married as adults. They unexpectedly became a really happy fulfilled couple because they spent a long time getting to know eachother well
I've never really been a huge fan for Archie Sonic but there's something about the odd "acid trip weirdness" it had during the earlier years that's just endlessly fascinating to me

It seems to literally just be a visual effect because of the sharp pain of a jelly sting is comparable to electricity. It's weird though, because other forms of sharp stinging pain in media isn't ever depicted as electricity, like other venomous bites from invertebrates and reptiles. But then again, I've never been stung by a jellyfish so maybe their stings in particular are just so much like electricity. Still seems weird that it's managed to become a recurring trope, though.

Yeah that itself is a problem, because Sonic characters as they are already tend to be more on the unfleshedout side, so adding new characters just gives more underdeveloped characters to juggle. And out of the current cast there isn't really anyone to pair him with. Rogue is too old and Cream is generally seen as the little girl character who is too young for romance.

If they somehow found a way to make their dimensions more permanently connected to allow for more regular interactions between the characters then maybe Marine could be fleshed out more and eventually become a character who could be paired with Tails (especially if you consider her to be Blaze's equivalent of Tails, if Blaze is the Sonic of her world).
