What they decide to produce is entirely up to them and if they decide to stop it's their right.
Now they have a lack of focus and too many iron in the fire and I understand that this can be frustrating for their readership, but in the end, this is not enough to consider that they instigated the drama. And saying that their readership shouldn't attack them for putting a work on hiatus isn't what I would call "playing the victim".
Now what might be a problem letting you take yourself in a drama argument, but being a regular on 4chan, I can't really throw a stone on them.
