Today we’ll be doing a thread about very good friends that are males this time. After the events of Sonic Forces, Gadget finds Infinite and decides to nurse him back to health. What we have is an odd couple type of situation really leaning into the “couple” aspect but not quite going there. It’s gay but not gaaaaaaaaaaaay. A couple of threads ago I floated the idea of upscaling Sonic Retold but didn't want to compete with Glitcher's Patreon since he makes the high resolution versions available there. I don't mind Patreon exclusives for a page being better in some way (larger size, earlier, text free, WIPs, etc.) for those willing to pay for it but Sonic Retold, Sonic the Continuation, and Shock and Awe have obnoxiously small page sizes. While I have never personally seen Vector and Vanilla as a ship to be taken seriously, for me they are a "young adult simping for the hot milf" joke couple, never going beyond that, I don't mind people shipping them as a serious couple.
That being said, I always found kind of jarring when artists make a baby between them.

It's not for the interspecies stuff. It is more about me not seeing Vector, of all characters in the franchise, as dad material, combined with the fact that most of the time these artists never explore Vector and Cream's relationship (Do they get along? Is he a good stepfather for Cream?), prior to putting Vanilla's baby factory back to work.

Now that I think about it, how often have we seen the potential stepfather-stepdaughter relationship of Vector and Cream explored in comics? Indeed most artists jump straight to making Vanilla pregnant and completely ignore Cream as part of the family equation.
