I had the game gear cart (thrown away years ago) and a tv plug n play given as a xmas gift that I never use. I hate yellow desert zone, there's a purple quicksand pit in act 1 that if you stand in for just one second you die. That shit scarred me as a kid.

A lot of them are pretty great, it's just that there were a heap that were just Knuckles with an accessory. Fortunately they diversified their designs when Yardley and Flynn came onboard. A good example is Locke, who was originally just Knuckles with a goatee and a lab coat but became more distinct by having a deeper red for his fur, dreadlock markings, eyebrows, and a more Knuckles Tribe-inspired outfit.

Penders would happily draw entire rooms full of Knuckles' with little to no variation. Those Science Council scenes where Dimitri was trying to convince them to lower Angel Island looked like a Knuckles convention

I think his sfw twitter account was unfortunately deleted, but still uploads to the nsfw. A lot of his work was originally posted as requests or by random on /sthg/. As I recall he was known as "pen-anon" at the time until anons there had discovered that he was a troll in the threads who was referred to as "LC-Kun". yeah it's a horrific echo chamber that I used to read on occasion cause they were articulate and seemed well informed but the constant reiteration and obnoxious need to shit on Sonic things that don't suit their view even in their positive lists or whatever is just tiresome, I often wish I was better at articulating my opinions or views but honestly if it makes you pretentious like that then I'm fine garbling how I like the chipmunk hybrid or think Infinite is actually a good character with potential.

I actually enjoyed this show, including the ending. I wouldn't have let Alura die, but if people consider it good writing for Tengen Toppa Guren Ragan, I don't see how it's different there. I think the main reason of the downfall of the show was that people thought it was a shipping show. It never was. And I can prove it: remove all romance form this show and the only significant change there would be that Lance wouldn't get Space herpes at the end. The story would be otherwise the same.

I don't hate the show or anything, I just felt the writing went off the rails as the series progressed. I was fine without any of the shipping drama, but the characters seemed to make increasingly weird decisions as the show progressed and it lost it's initial fun space adventure comfiness. I guess it was more disappointed that the show I was watching in season 1 ended up so different by the end
