Yeah, the idea would be that they’re still heroes, but their initial motivation is to undo the damage Eggman’s done to their reputation by setting up base in Green Hill.

There was some nice Amnesia!Sonic flirting with Blaze in IDW though, shame they dropped that plot point almost immediately.
