Always the latter. Middle can be good at times, but is usually just an excuse to have the former with "will he, won't he" whinging and baiting. Metal's usual depiction of being totally cold, unfeeling, and basically shackled to his Robotnik programming is fucking tiring. At this oint, he isn't even a character - just some shiny obstacle that Sonic has to bust through once per game.

It's really good, very action packed without feeling rushed. I especially liked the end reveal where Robotnik pulls off his hyper-realistic mask to reveal he's been Griphone the entire time. Thanks! No, it's all me when it comes to writing but I do go over things every once in a while. I've revised the script for the first issue many times. I still need to go over previous pages and do some changes because Bunnie and Antoine's accents and how I prefer writing them have gone back and forth a little bit. As for characters acting OOC that's fine because this is a whole new variation of everyone. Story flaws? Fingers crossed but that's why I have things planned out years in advance with summaries and figuring how things go to make them work better in the comics.

Continue to exist, sort of. But now there's a timeline where he died and failed, and a timeline where he succeeded and continued to live in the Other M Zone. Logically, there should also be a reality where he stopped going there entirely based on the events of that continuity, but it's one we never get to observe.

I disagree. I mean the game cast are even colourcoded to let you know what they’re like. Sonic’s a cool blue tryhard mascot, Tails is a meek yellow kind boy, Amy is the pink girly girl, Knuckles is the angry red one, Shadow is the edgy black one, Rouge is the tanned gyaru slut with her tits out. You can guess that about them at a glance. If you can’t tell what Lanolin’s personality is on sight then chances are it’s gonna be a pussilanimous halfhearted “she’s an ordinary girl without any strong inclinations and she’s just there cause she wants to help” deal like with Jewel and Belle and Whisper to an extent.

Nta, but it extends to secondaries. Omega is a huge top heavy combat robots with guns for hands and is about what you'd expect from that description, Cream is a baby, Big is a lovable huge goofball without any angles to him, Charmy wears a helmet because he seeks action and his loud colors to match his obnoxious personality, etc. All Beep-Beep has going for her at first glance is her choker bell that can be used to choke her at a moments notice if literally anyone wanted to choke her. So basically what I'm saying is between that and her large plot developments she's top tier at least.
