To catch you up, this is the SA2 adaption. Robotnik got a hold of Ark and its cannon and destroyed Emerald Hill. Sonic and Super Sonic tried working with each other but Sonic didn't fully trust him so they failed. Sonic is presumed dead. And Robotnik has taken over. Again.

Yeah, but that came at the cost of basically everyone getting character assassinated. I'd much rather take him solving the issue with the goblins in the Nameless Zone peacefully and in a clever way and still being by far one of the most experienced members of the Freedom Fighters over him becoming a great hero, but at the cost of almost the entirety of the original cast getting fucked over.

Well neither can Sonic Team.
The video game biz is confusing. All the money is in mobile and live service/cash cow, aka fire everyone ASAP, the only coders who stick around either have no transferrable skills or are insane, artists exist for 5 minutes before management says time's up, marketing is a blackhole, studio leaders are not only auteurs but feudal lords, and if a million people don't drop money on the product, it doesn't break even.

It's unknown. Don't think the Origins of the Tornado are stated anywhere, in either the games or Sonic X - just that it was originally Sonic's. In the Shogakukan manga, it belonged to his dad so you can argue that he inherited it at some point based on that continuity.

Either way, he'd need to have some degree of mechanical engineering knowledge to maintain it and keep it running.

These others descriptions are also good enough of flavor text. I can tell from her words alone her wantings to tie about most obscure tidbits of the FFs into them back as face and front plot-mattering details. Granted, still got my eyes on her Rotor interpretration. Waldemar, honestly, couldn't be anymore a fitting name for him.

Is the artist here? I figured she was anyway, given the past posts that were hers likely. Wanted to leave her some more celebratory words, ask her more of her Rotor and, finally, to wonder where's the safety ring on Rotor. Within one of his pockets?

Bummer. Regardless, it's never a bad time when an artist tackles on Rotor, redesigning and whatnot. He needs more love and attention, is all (thankfully, there's one taking on his sent saint duty to fill him and his belly up with cute art).

It's a shame I couldn't find any of ernestpanda's art. I did just write a gallery-dl tutorias if you're interested though. I just use Ubuntu because there's more tutorials for things but have been looking into ones like Fedora. I'll have to take a look at EndeavourOS!
