Seriously though, just wanted to say thanks to you and the team for making these comics. STC is one of my favorites and I've seriously enjoyed reading this continuation. I particularly liked seeing Shorty move past the armor and get his own team of freedom fighters. It was also nice seeing the more obscure characters show up again (Turbo's one of my favorite characters).

Well, this is lovely. I'm one of the writers of a number of these strips. I'm not gonna tell you which ones because I'd rather you keep your feedback honest! But I'm honestly touched by a lot of the responses. I love seeing people enjoy something I've written.

I wish I could tell you more about where STCO is planned to go next. It's been a good long while since the last issue and I actually left the team after that one was published (though I'm still friends with the team- wonderful people I love dearly).

There are some absolutely fucking brilliant stories coming up. I can tell you I submitted a fair few scripts and ideas to last the comic plenty of issues, but I've made it clear I have no delusions that those stories will all be run now I'm no longer part of the team. I just want to be able to enjoy STC as anyone else. I fucking love this comic more than you can imagine, it literally shaped the direction of my life. I'm so proud of the other members of the team and from the few snippets I've seen for next issue, my goodness you're in for some nice looking stuff.

In case anyone was wondering why certain plots took a while to be resolved, I'll be candid- the number of plot threads grew and grew until the current editor and some of the team finally drew up a plan to tie it all off. That's why issues 276-280 have generally been about getting rid of millstones hanging around the comic's neck. We inherited a lot of mess and, honestly, I'm a little sad I won't get to play with the toys now we've tidied the playroom up.

Anyway. Seems to me your conductor missed a story. Can't blame them, it was hidden in the site. We gave this one away at Sonic The Comic Con 2014. Be nice if we had another of those this year, eh? Enjoy!

5/7. Because we had a deadline- the date of the convention- we split art duties between two pencil/inkers and two colourists. Here's the switch! The rabbit at bottom-right is a Mobian caricature of one of the comic's biggest fans, who not only has every issue but has most, if not all, of the European editions too. And owns the entirety of The Origin of Sonic. We're pretty sure she's paid half of Richard Elson's mortgage at this point.

I'm not the conductor, but I was responsible for downloading and upscaling the images. The site was admittedly a little difficult to use, but no worse than any other Sonic fansite.
