Personally I'm in the "meh" camp and I'm not really optimistic about Sonic Team tackling an open world game. It's at the point where they have to show something that actually interests me. Otherwise, it's just another Sonic game. On the other hand, if they announced a Sonic Mania 2 I would be hyped and buy that day one. But we know that's never going to happen.
