In Shadow the Hedgehog, he believes Shadow killed Maria (and believes the massacre was justified to stop Shadow), but by the final ending, they put aside their differences and Shadow works for GUN (his induction occurs in Expert Mode).

I don't think Conductor could get away with posting this if it were all in comic form. That description of Sonic shirtless would likely trigger the mods.

His shirt was torn along the outer edges of the chest, revealing that his chest fur was long and snow white, jagged over the shoulders. His jacket hid his arms and chest but in torn places Sonic could see that his fur covered his entire body; while Sonic had his stomach and arms bare.

>“I am Shadow.” He replied staring at Sonic with a pair of blood red eyes. “That is all you need to know.” Sonic growled between clenched teeth.

Tails Forces (which was posted in the last thread by translator-anon) is around 300 pages plus a bunch of extras, so that could take multiple threads depending on how much Conductor putting individual pages together cuts it down by.

There are a few other massive comics around, but either they've already been placed in Conductor's "not interested" folder, rejected or they're so goddamn large that Conductor has just dismissed them because they'd take forever to do. And some of the truly massive ones of that last category like Blue Prisoner/Murderer, Conductor has refused to do both because of sheer size and because they're simply way too fucked up to be posted.

So there are still a fuckton of really big comics. It's just the majority of those aren't what Conductor plans on adding to the list any time soon.

Honestly it's way more bizarre that SEGA went out their way to rehabilitate GUN's image. SEGA even had Shadow join them which felt really wrong. I would've left them as a weird paranoid caricature of the US's world police BS.

Both Commander Tower and Shadow were childhood friends with Maria and wanted to keep her promise. Them working together makes sense now that they both know the full truth.
I'd argue that post-Shadow the Hedgehog, GUN's in the process of reforming but will always be Team America: World Police. I don't see them disbanding since they're the only official organization capable of taking on Eggman.
I'd actually like to see GUN fleshed out some more, I'd imagine there's all sorts of factions with different opinions on how to handle Eggman, super-powered hedgehogs, and other potential threats. Surely at least one faction want's to just assassinate Eggman.

That's one of the reasons I think ShTH is the worst game storywise. Its treatment of GUN, Maria, and Gerald is so bizarre and contradictory to SA2. In SA2 Gerald's just some government contractor who goes mad with grief over his granddaughter dying. Its purposefully ambiguous which of Shadow's memories are real (if any, he may have needed powering up to turn on from Eggman's chaos emerald) because Gerald explicitly says he fucked with his head in the diary. The idea that Shadow's motivation for manipulating Eggman into destroying the world might not even be his own is one of the most interesting parts of the story.
Then ShTH barges in and says "Nope, you gotta take those flashbacks at face value now! Gerald was a good boy who did nothing wrong until he went crazy! Maria's a saint who inexplicably new another child on the Ark that Shadow never met! There's Aliens now so Gerry was totally justified in making a gun that could blow up the planet! GUN explicitly killed Maria but they're good guys now cuz our new OC was sad Maria died. What's that you say? Why was Tower on the Ark as a kid and why wasn't he killed in the cover up? Don't worry about it!"

We already have enough villains who will never ever get used again in this franchise, we do not need more. I totally agree about ShTH mucking up the canon. It wasn't written by Maekawa so it lacks all the subtlety of SA2's writing. Is Shadow the ultimate lifeform or was it Sonic that was created on the ARC? Which of Shadow's memories, if any, are real? I get why they wanted to give a these a proper answer, but lol aliens isn't it.
I liked that Gerald was a essentially a good person funding his granddaughter's cure by working with the military who went mad after she was murdered. It also helps answer why Eggman's a genius (it runs in the family) and why he only works with machines (his grandfather's abilities were exploited before being betrayed by the military). The revised Gerald was good, then went mad, but was actually still a good guy wanting to save the world just doesn't make sense. He brainwashed Shadow to cause the ARC to crash into the Earth!
I did like that they cleared up the "was Shadow a robot in Heroes?" plot line and completed his character arc, becoming a hero.

Gerald only became a villain because Tower's predecessor, ordered the complete massacre of everyone on the ARK, up to and including his own critically ill daughter. Yes, he did some dubious stuff to Shadow, but he never stepped into fullblown evil until he had all that he loved taken from him.

Eggman is also fighting against the aliens. The Black Arms are a big enough threat that alignment doesnt matter much. GUN is still being controlled by people using it for their own selfish interests (Tower attacking Shadow). He might learn the error of is ways after but for most of the game they're just a lighter shade of black.

Tower attacks Shadow because he thinks that he's a threat to humanity and that he killed Maria and not one of GUN's own dudes. And the fact there's an active alignment meter in the game means that he can end up being proven right if Shadow does enough bad shit.
