The real difference is that Sonic flip flops between light hearted American cartoon and action anime. The American side of things is almost always silly while the JP side of things is just anime

Actually did find Kung Fu Panda cast as Mobians, despite amateur art it actually looks pretty solid design wise overall. Though Viper looks off since snakes seem to just have snake faces in Sonic

Also each villain of the trilogy in the mobian style, even this starting artist got the idea to give them the more diverse bodies of Sonic characters like Big, Thrash or Storm. I think Tai Lung looks off but Lord Shen and Kai look essentially perfect making the jump

I always wanted to see how Sally & The FF learned the skills they learned in the reboot.

Like, I guess Sally sees Classic Sonic blitzing through Sonic 2 and gets everyone to try running through Emerald Hill, and they fail miserably. So Tails and Amy help the gang go through a Sonic Bootcamp of sorts. Insert montage of them learning how to spin, roll, dash, go through loops and even customizing their own goal signs.

Otherwise, sign me up for the Team Dark bandwagon.
