Sonic #288-293 Today we do the remaining issues of the mainline Sonic series. Watch as the issues become more and more incomplete. For Sonic’s 25th anniversary, Archie decided to celebrate with the Genesis of a Hero story. It’s four parts and only three were finished. This isn’t completely useless as this shows us the revised history for the reboot. And after that, we get the start of the Freedom Fighters splitting up into teams to do various things.

I don't think this is a bad thing, their relationship was pretty cute, but I wish they focused more on Antoine as a character rather than in them as a couple, I think it would've worked better for both of them, he never got much focus or an arc for himself. >>142669394 From what I've seen in the scrapped comics, I think there was some fun stuff that could be done. That kind of story about things like magical swords and family relics and castles is something that doesn't really exist in Sonic outside of that Storybook game that is disconnected from the main game universe, so having someone that can bring that to the table could've been good without needing to attach that kind of plotline to any pre-existing game character.
Let's say you read the Storytime as it commences. On average, a storytime lasts around 2 hours, right? Now previous storytimes have definitely been shorter, like an hour and a half? But let's just say it's about 2 hours a day. Now multiply 2 by 163, which is the number of storytimes we've had so far. It's 326. Now divide that by 24. You get 13.58 days! We've spent nearly 14 days of our lives just reading Archie Sonic. That's amazing!

If anything, Archie is pretty special in that it's legitimately one of the worst comics ever made. Personally I'd say it ranks as THE worst, but I haven't read every shit comic.
