Ian: Yeah but that was a nightmare in and of itself because Sega of Japan was treating it as if Unleashed had already happened so they were very confused as to why Chip was even around and they got notes like the Gaia temples are lost forever under the ground, etc. There was this big disconnect over they're doing the comic version of Unleashed and SoJ was of the stance that "No this is how the story has happened. We're just making allowances for you to bring back some elements." The beginning of the reboot was a gauntlet of challenges.

The art kind of sucks compared to Collide. Yardley's Mega Man characters looked weird, but he was still way better than this. You'd think, if nothing else, the bloated crossover could at least provide some nice spectacle but it's not delivering even that.
