This is it! The end of the Unofficial Ride (for now) and the end of this series (because it’s been on hiatus since January 7, 2021)! Scourge needs help but does anyone want to help him? What ultimately happened to Rouge and Omega? And why is there a Sonic that’s still alive and has a British accent? Let’s find out in the final day of Ghosts of the Future!

Question: What would the comic be like if Knuckles assumed his role as the ghost and wasn’t replaced by Sonic?

Sonic and the Freedom Fighters Note: Even though each Freedom Fighter has their own personal problems and anxieties, they’re able to focus during missions and not let it affect them too much. But when things calm down and they have time to think about it, that’s when those thoughts come back to haunt them. They’ll have to address those issues eventually.

The OT3 would be very different for one. And I think Knuckles might be too aggressive with Silver or wanting revenge on Nicole to be the best mentor.

Definitely needed but God it's gonna be so painful for me. The one thing I definitely don't fucking miss of the Archie comics was how the Mega Man crossovers eventually became obligatory reading. It's my unpopular Sonic opinion that I think they made the comic worse for whatever reason. I just don't give a single shit about the Mega Man franchise.

Fortunately they're all in groups of 4 or fewer so you'll be able to just skip those threads. Highly recommend sticking around for the Dreamwave Mega Man, it's only 4 issues and the art is early 00s AF!

Spaz does the art for one of the issues and I figure it would be nice way to bookend the tossed in space arc. We also don't have any specials for that era of comics and this would fill the gap nicely.
