Brutus was also not in this first version of the Sonic CD arc. When Amy gets to her family estate and freaks out, a group of swatbots would appear and give priorities to everyone (Hedgehog priority one, chipmunk-squirrel priority two, etc.) and rank Amy last. Amy would then slam a swatbot with her hammer and she would be upgraded to priority two. Sonic would cheekily tell Sally that she lost her spot and Sally would pull out her arm blades and say she’ll have to work to get it back. And then they’d all fight.
I want to say that we were robbed, but what we've got has been just as fun.

yeah I do like the moral nuance they give some of the egg factions like also with Nephtys though I also feel that if she stuck around long enough there shoulda been a moment where Eggman gets tired of the complacence and does some shit to ravage both his own forces and the Freedom Fighter faction in Shamar to showcase why Sonic doesn't just let him take over and why she's wrong to condemn him actually standing up to him

Hedgehog purrs are basically the little clicking noises they make when extremely content or relaxed, though it apparently varies by the hedgehog. Some apparently purr like cats when relaxed.

So basically, Sonic would make weird little clicks or chirps as his version of purring if you got him to that state.

The thing is, while I could see Eggman making a moonbase, I can't see him making it, specifically out of the bits he blew off.
Because he kind of comes from the same place that one modest mouse song "Lampshades on Fire" came from. He's here for a good time not a sensible, sustainable time.

Yeah, there's fortunately (for me at least) more interaction between Sonic and Knuckles than many other pairs. I'm really hoping we get to see more of them together now that SoJ seems fine with characters other than Sonic and Eggman interacting in the games

If I was in charge of a new Sonic reboot:
Eggman is suddenly competent in combat and Satan himself.
Sonic is serious like Shadow but ... just make him british sonic.
Tails is more sarcastic and indifferent and has more combat abilities and speed. He's often Sonic's rival.
Rouge is Sonic's sister now. Don't think about it.

Amy is an old woman using a spell to appear much younger so she often smokes and does shit you wouldn't expect like listening to old music, being less romantic and more perverted.
New characters are introduced to form a Freedom Planet crossover; Lilac, Carol, Milla.

2 shows:
Action slice of life in the big city at night.
And a world tournament involving 2 competitions one with survival parkour racing and one with a weird dodgeball kinda game.

Levels from Sonic 2 are used in the show.
