Kinda reminds me of that water ruins zone that's appearing in the in-progress fangame Sonic Galactic. I feel like if everyone can do attacks like Chaos Spear it cheapens Shadow. If anything I do believe Knuckles moveset should include some Chaos attacks since he's constantly around the Master Emerald. Because as it is only Sonic and Shadow can use Chaos Control with just one emerald (and in some cases for Shadow he doesn't need any emeralds), and the rest of the cast would need all 7 seven to perform Chaos Control, and I feel Knuckles should be included in that.

I have to agree. I think SA2 did things right by not having Sonic perform a Chaos Spear, despite being the better Chaos user. I liked Knuckles doing Chaos attacks in Archie, but I'd prefer to seem him negate Chaos energy instead since that's the Master Emerald's main thing. Also, he should've been able to fix the ARK's orbit by tapping into the Master Emerald since it can levitate large objects

I see a few Sonic fangames on Twitter whenever I scroll through what it feeds me. There's that Sonic 06 sequel whatever game and I know there was another 3D Sonic fangame. And then there's a few 2D fangames. The 2D ones look very good because the sprite work has extra flourishes. I should download videos some next time I see them. Maybe one day I'll check them out. I'd be more interested in a game with story and not just "Sonic beats Eggman by running through a bunch of levels."

Besides Sonic Galactic there's this other real good looking Jet Set Radio-esque inspired one called S&K Neutrogic Panic. Shame that Sonic and the Fallen Star was kinda forgettable because the level design was mid and the music was wallpaper which is just sacrilege for a Sonic fangame. Triple Trouble 16-bit was great though.
