I'd say around 4 comics per thread, since a lot of plots can be broken up nicely like that. Small updates could go at the end of the thread as normal, but I'd just break every time we have a new fancomic issue to do. Having a thread or two a week just for fancomics could be fun too
Just think, by the time you've finished Archie, you might need to do IDW since it will probably be wrapped up by then too

I think you should hold off fancomics until the archie ride ends because then we can have a massive fancomic feast, a nice thicc chunk of fancomics to choose from at your leisure.

And most importantly, it gives people a break from the fancomics, because when we first started we had a lot more IPs than now, more comments ect. I think some got burnt out over time and so having such a large break would probably bring those anons back.

Also its just nice to have one huge update sometimes

That's an interesting point about our numbers so I decided to take a look. We seem to be relatively stable for the last year, although we've had things taper off a bit in the last few threads. Just ignore the dip at the end, the smoothing function doesn't handle endpoints well.

I wouldn't mind just doing updates at the end of threads and save full issues until after Archie.

Since this February, I have convinced myself that something similar to this would have been a better premise for the Sanic movie. Just without the Team Edward/Team Jacob elements. And instead of/in addition to being awkward, the main girl who's smitten with the furry blue 3'something" alien critter who doesn't wear pants and insists he's an Earth hedgehog is the live action universe's version of Helen.
Would need to have a pretty different tone from the movie we got though. Somewhere around the Raimi Spider-Mans.

With Merlina Sonic's trying to help her move through her grief and start living in the present (she literally stopped time to "preserve" Camelot from it's eventual demise). Actually, there is something interesting in the Ancients angle here. They were being pursued by this ancient evil across the galaxy, but crash landed on Earth/Mobius due to the Master Emerald pulling them in. That can't have been a coincidence, considering both the Chaos and Master Emeralds have their own will. If anything, that indicates there is a way to defeat The End, but it requires all the emeralds to happen

The End is also a blatant sadist who enjoys murdering and violating worlds for the sheer fun of it. You can bet your ass that Chip probably knows when and how the planet is meant to 'die' and he'd be against whatever the fuck it's doing.

If the process The End was performing was really natural, then it would just let things play out on their own until everything falls to it. But it doesn't do that because it expresses glee at the idea of devouring all existence. That and it's goal is a very personal "all existence is screaming noise and Chaos, and I want to silence it all" - that is not the opinion of something that simply exists as a natural force.

Because they quite literally weren't given enough time. The original idea for the final End fight was something completely different, but they had to swerve hard when they realized they didn't have the time to implement that. Same thing happened with Supreme, who had to have most of its moves cut.
