It's also pretty fucked up and needlessly grim for a lot of the characters. Sally and Nicole are forced to accept that their original friends may as well be dead, Hershey and Elias and other Archie originals still have their memories but are intentionally hiding this fact from Sally and Nicole because they're still up against Naugus in Geoffrey's body who retains control over Mobotropolis in the new timeline and has turned it into a police state, Bunnie is a Hooligan who hasn't met Antoine or any of the other Freedom Fighters so she's hostile by default, characters like Sonic or Tails or Knuckles are actively written as mostly rejecting the notion of restoring their memories of the previous world or their families from before since they are effectively fundamentally different people, Shard is outright killed off in at least one omake, etc.
It's mostly well-written, even with the omakes, but it has to be one of the most depressing Sonic fanfics I've encountered that isn't just pure torture porn.
