Even if you discount that, this is the same guy who spent a good chunk of Trouble In Tokyo filling his stomach instead of helping catch the big bad and only stopped when he got kicked out by force and got attacked by an eldritch abomination.

Sure, he helped out LATER by helping to corroborate the info they gained, but he still spent most of his time eating. Though I guess that's lessened by the fact that B.B. gets seduced by a cat girl and gets his ass handed to him.
