Blaze doesn't die here, she takes on a form similar to that of Burning Blaze using Iblis' power. Her body can't handle it for long so she removes herself from that dimension to save the future. The leading theory is the explosion of Iblis' energy causes the creation of the Sol dimension, where Blaze is then reincarnated. Iblis' remaining power is sealed away inside the Sol Emeralds and the new Blaze becomes their guardian.
There's lots of evidence for this, but the main points are:

It works perfectly fine in 06. Every instance of time travel lines up properly with causality. Extinguishing the flame wipes out Solaris at all points in time, meaning Elise's father never experimented with time travel and Iblis was never sealed inside her. We then fast forward to the present day (the festival) where Elise will have a completely different set of memories. Elise and Sonic only remember the original timeline because they were present, and Blaze's reincarnation begins to remember because she is unaffected by the causality of Sonic's world. Silver doesn't remember, but does feel a familiarity with Blaze, as seen in Colors DS.
