Another short thread but we got an interesting story to cover. And yes it’s a vertical comic. Suck it up. We go to the Archieverse but instead of focusing on Sonic and the Freedom Fighters, this is all about Silver and Shadow! The bumbling time traveler takes a break from accusing people to wonder about a person in a mysterious pod in his doomed future. Will Silver learn the truth? Or will he once again annoy everyone? Why not both? Let’s find out in Nectar!

And here's the big part of the story. To make the name and capsule make sense.

King Sonic goes to the past to save the timeline but ends up changing everything so that he's no longer king, is never there to convince Shadow to be good, and Sally marries him to keep the planet from being fucked over by him. It's described as a loveless marriage and they don't have sex or anything. Shadow is defeated and Sonic marries Sally and knocks her up to get things back to the way they were. It's convoluted but just an alternate future.

What a great comic, very nicely told. Still not a fan of the mega-tall format though. I have to agree, that was a touching ending, even if I'd have preferred a more solid conclusion. Judging from the flower imagery, the capsule will open when that Shadow's ready, and may have even opened during their race.
