Highly recommend reading it, it's very different to Archie. It won't take as long as you'd think since the issues are half the length of Burger comics since Bri'ish ones would come out fortnightly. Most of the later ones are just cover images due to stupid publisher bullshit. STCO also has a 'previously on' comic that covers the major events.

If you're talking about the various idle lines Sonic says, then they're still in the game. They just have a stupidly low rate of triggering, like all of his idle lines. You need to wait a good 15 - 30 minutes if you want to hear him say anything at all or adjust the settings to try and get them to trigger more frequently.

I'm confused, the show was always stagnant but has changed as its producer's sensibilities have (middle class circle jerk). Oddly the American market appeal hasn't affected it as much as other enterprises (Aardman).
