And mods have always allowed Sonic comic threads (The Ride itself literally got started in the beginning because the mods let one guy storytime all of Archie on /v/ way back, which inadvertently led to the creation of /sthg/ on /vg/). They'll delete shitty Sonic threads that are really just excuses to bait or shitpost (they've deleted IDW threads that were just being used by the schizo to screech over Archie as well as others), but they've mostly left actual Ride threads alone.
