The author's passion here is deliberate and touching, but awfully far too mismanage-able, even relatively to a fancomic. The issues seem really raw and very popping on the comic, so it tips me there didn't seem to be planning-ahead choreography and scripting, thus resulting on a very inconsistent pace, verbose sluggish and redundant dialogue, confusing placement, and so on.
But maybe I'm saying this all, plainly for that I just can't seem to invest into DragonBall generally, even if Sonic is conceptually based on, so there's that too. I'm not really a weeaboo type, so to speak.
But for what's worth, the art is incredible! I'm very digging of the artist's rendition on everyone, especially Mogul, Naugus and the FFs. They just look far more cooler, and that rather makes up my time with this comic. And while janky, I do enjoy a lot when a story is fairly rapid-paced, like here on this fancomic.
