For those who don't know, Dawn Best was the first to write in to Archie as a fan and get a job. Penders took her under his wing, with Best penciling his layouts. They still keep in contact, and Best's been wisely keeping quiet about the lawsuit.

How will Sally escape? You know where I'm going with this. We may never know because this is the last page of the comic and it hasn't updated since 2020! The artist has an original comic that they're currently working on and posting on their DA page but they did say that they wanted to continue this in a comment last year. Who knows if that ever happens.

Tomorrow I've got some options that I'm considering for the next thread. We'll see what I go with at 8pm EST.

For a comic whose sole purpose is parodying '06, the writer sure seems invested on making sure Sally is good on her character. I like a lot her underlying trait of putting herself ahead and front of everything, for the sake of her people, as to expect of a good notable princess. It also cleverly sports out her flaw of butting in her head before thinking twice, when under pressure, which underlines a good reason she's so in love with Sonic, in that she sort of relates to him.
