Welcome to a new Sonic world, forget Sonic X, forget games, forget Archie and Fleetway, and dive into this dark and oppressive universe.
After several failures to try to make a Sonic comic recounting the adventures of the blue hedgehogs while respecting video games as faithfully as possible, Sonic X changed the situation and forced me to resign myself. It was while reading Ultimate Spider-man and Ultimates that the idea of making an “Ultimate Sonic” came to me. My first works were initially based on a simple modification of Sonic’s shoes and gloves, but my brother, whom I had asked to make “Ultimate robots” by Eggman, designed me a superb machine but which no longer stuck. really with the cartoonish/manga style of Sonic, and so I decided to make a more realistic Sonic (well I tried), more serious and therefore to write a darker scenario too (but less stupid than those of Archie (sorry archie comic fans but that’s just my opinion and I apologize if it offends you)). Another problem, another site had already made a comic entitled Ultimate Sonic and used the same principle, I changed the title to Sonic Revolution because I am revolutionizing (finally in my opinion) the world of Sonic.
The first issue therefore introduces the characters and begins to set up the plot, pay attention to all the details indeed what could be insignificant could become an important thing later.
We’re going to be 2000s as fuck tonight with some old (and at times obnoxious) comics. We’ll start with a very hip and edgy story that sadly only has one issue. What happens when you take Sonic Adventure 1, mix in some Metal Gear Solid writing, and turn Amy into a goth girl? You get Sonic Revolution!
