NiGHTS is strange. SEGA pushed it so hard in the late 90’s / early 2000’s, having constant references and cameos in the Adventure games. Ehh gotta disagree, I've read both comics but everytime I find myself reading them again I get more enjoyment out of Fleetway. For starters STC doesn't suffer from terrible pacing/decompression and the word vomit that made the Archie comics kind of a slog to read through. I do enjoy Archie but It's got lots of drawbacks and I can't deny that I like reading them mostly because I consider them to be amongst one of the biggest "What the fuck am I even reading?" experience, batshit crazy that can get really fun but not what I exactly expect out of a Sonic comic
STC actually feels like a cool action comic for boys throughout it's whole run while still managing to take creative liberties from the games, not too sterile like IDW but not too different like Archie. Maybe that's why I like it more
