When Amy aged up there was a time that Sally didn't approve of her being a Freedom Fighter and thought of her as still a kid but that changed after a while. There was also the alleged plot of Sonic and Amy getting together and keeping it a secret. That would've created more friction. Just as the editors at Archie wanted.

I think in this case, Sally's only guilty of reciprocating Sonic's feeling, though I think this comic might be more Shadamy than anything else and they're a lot less harsh on Sally. Though they do the same thing with Sonic.

That's not how AI works.
You "train" AI on drawings, because all it does is spit out what already exists and someone, usually the programmer, told it what is a correct way to spit it out and what isn't.

So if you have a lot of a character, it'll be "really good" at drawing said character. But if you don't, it won't.
And Sega characters are anything but simple. Sincerely Sonic is a pain to draw compared to normal humanoids.

I chalk it up to drawing them for a decent while with references, but I've admittedly found Mobian characters can get just a tiny bit easier so long as you have the basic design down in your head. Sonic was (and still is) a bitch to actually draw, but once you have his general shape down, it mostly comes to conveying his motion, expressions, and details. Even the shittiest drawn Sonic can still be recognizably "Sonic" as long as you have the shape and outline down.
