To think such simple approach could have been fortifying enough on setting on the true uniqueness of IDW and branch it into a good comic... I would think that's the best and most eye-catching decision for them to push it forward during IDW's beginnings, and yet, they simply invalidated Mr. Tinker, so it was all a waste of time.

To this day, I still believe Mr. Tinker as now ally and prominent character among the cast, definitely could have brought the comic into better terms of quality, as it would mean a particularly interesting perspective of Eggman but good, and more encouragement on fostering new villains and founding them better. Starline, especially, would have a much better suiting on spotlight. That's not a bad worldwide change for refreshing up the status quo.

I so badly want Belle to strike some emotional cord in Eggman to become that one person he actually cares for. A sister for Metal as well. I had thought of her being some neutral character, staying by her father's side because that's the only thing she ever wanted. She never got in his way or helped him in doing anything evil. And in return he would never try to corrupt her and let her cook and clean. It doesn't de-fang Eggman but it would give him some depth as well as finding a place for Belle. Also thinking about there being a secret stash of plans from Mr. Tinker in Belle's memory. I have had so many ideas on what to do with the character which is a shame because not that many people like her and she isn't being used effectively. The ideal is, yes, Eggman must succumb to his sins through the chair of death for closing on the book for heroes and their efforts being paid-off and marking a new status quo's sake, but for as long SEGA keeps intervening, that won't ever be a reality, sadly. In a related note, it's for that precisely that I don't at all feel anything of Ian's Eggman, as all the atrocities he commits are vapid on nature, when he won't be ever punished for them. That could be better reserved for secondary villains, whom can be freely punished in proportion of the their committed crimes. That's why I personally find Eggman best as a childish ego-maniac doctor and just that. He should be multi-faceted just as any other, just as long you don't abuse him for appetizing your sadomasochism interests. Robotnik from AOSTH, early Archie and Boom, are the best modal examples in my eyes.

It has a bit to do with why I loved Endgame too: Robotnik was defeated (even in the most cumbersome way), and that wasn't ever retconned in Archie Sonic 'till soft-boot.

At this point I prefer fan comics to what IDW is putting out. There are some comics like Heroes Come Back that do a better job of continuing Archie then I could've hoped for. Problem is the artist is having troubles since they're in Russia and recently got over covid. But they have said they want to get back to that comic. Scourge Eternal Blackout has been updating so much and that's another top tier fancomic that's doing its own thing. As for Rotor, yeah he's not used nearly as much. When it comes to the FF, it's mostly Sally and maybe Bunnie and Antoine. The fancomic that probably used Rotor the most was A Sly Encounter.

I'm pretty certain he killed many people when he woke up Dark Gaia. If not from the planet splitting itself, then from the chaos and panic that ensued. Chaos drowning Station Square after emerging as Perfect Chaos also probably killed more than a few.
